The new issue of Alternative Press comes out on October 1st, but subscribers are already getting their copies! The above picture of Tony Perry of the band Pierce The Veil is my first image published in AP and I’m really excited about it. I’ve been subscribing since I was probably 14 or so, and for as long as I can remember I would flip through the magazine cutting all the photos out that were taken by my favorite photographers and taping them to my walls. 

This has pretty much my biggest goal since I started shooting, and it’s an honor to have one of my photos gracing the pages of so many idols of mine.

I hope there’s some aspiring photographer kid out there somewhere who tears this picture out and sticks it on their wall. The cycle would be complete, or something like that.
